Auto Technician

First Shift
Monday – Friday    8:00 am – 4:30 pm


  1. Read and review job orders received daily.
  2. Perform work on engine, body, electrical, air conditioning, brakes, etc.
  3. Complete State inspections as assigned.
  4. Remove and store any loose, broken or spare parts to maintain clean work areas including lift areas and general shop areas.
  5. Operate vehicles and fork lifts in a safe manner.
  6. Purchase, upkeep and store own tools.
  7. Operate pressure washer, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment and various power hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  8. Operate Air Condition Recovery machine.
  9. Test drive vehicles for inspection of completed jobs
  10. Review Shop Manual and all Vehicle Manuals periodically for both updating of procedures and problem-solving.
  11. Answer questions about repairs.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
  13. Perform other related duties as assigned

Degree:  High School Diploma or Equivalent


Prior mechanical experience required.


  • Valid Drivers License – Must meet insurance underwriting requirements
  • ASE Certification Preferred
